Courses are held throughout the year in venues such as St Marks Church Centre, Archers Road or Highfield Church Centre, Highfield Road. We have a strong link with Southampton University and run several courses on their behalf.

We run courses, a series of concerts in the Tudor Merchants Hall, residential courses, trips to places of interest and hold monthly coffee mornings in member's houses.

Special event to honour Miss Kay E Smith MBE.
Kay's contribution to Adult Education in Southampton goes back over many years. She has been involved with the WEA since before she left school and has been both a paid worker and a volunteer. The success of our branch is down to her continued hard work and commitment. We held a special event to commemorate her contribution and her retirement as branch secretary at The Tudor Merchants Hall in November.
